Job Description

Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role works alongside the Credit Controller and Purchase Ledger Clerk, primarily covering these two positions when they are not at work (they work 4 days out of 5). Additionally, there are some further tasks which are not currently performed by the Credit Controller and Purchase Ledger, which would be in the remit of the Ledger Administrator.

Cover for Credit Controller and Purchase Ledger Clerk on the (one) day a week when each does not work Cover for Credit Controller and Purchase Ledger Clerk when they are on holiday Above standard tasks involve taking calls from suppliers and customers, processing sales and purchase invoices, posting cash to ledger, raising payments to suppliers Additional tasks, to be confirmed but will be a selection of the following: Sample checking PODs (Proof Of Delivery) have been scanned in and investigating with the Warehouse Team where this has not happened (note that scanning in is not required as a task) Ensuring that purchase orders received from customers have the correct trading name and that sales orders are raised against the correct trading name Ensuring that credit insurance is in place for customers and keeping credit limits up to date on the Navision accounts system

We are looking for someone with the following attributes:

Team player - as the position works alongside two other positions with overlap of duties Good attention to detail Accuracy Flexibility to handle a variety of tasks

Working hours and benefits



Working hours are 22.5 hrs worked over 3 days a week, two of the three days would be Tuesdays (9:00am - 5:00pm) and Fridays (9:00am- 4:30pm).

Pay: 16,000.00-18,500.00 per year
