About the role

As Legacy Giving Manager, you will be a key member of a growing team that is transforming the ambition and scope of legacy giving at UCL, as we approach our bicentenary. In this role, you will be responsible for driving pledged legacy income in support of UCL's fundraising priorities, by developing and stewarding meaningful relationships with legacy prospects and pledgers. You will also contribute to the delivery of our wider legacy programme, helping to grow engagement in legacy giving through events, targeted appeals and bespoke stewardship.



We are happy to consider applications to work on a part-time/flexible basis wherever possible (minimum 0.8 FTE - equivalent of 4 days per week, stated salary to be pro-rata).



This role is eligible for hybrid working with a minimum of 20% on site at our London office.

About you

We are looking for an experienced and passionate legacy fundraiser, who is highly motivated to grow and develop our legacy programme. The successful candidate will have fantastic attention to detail, be target driven, and approach situations with strategic vision. You will also be a confident and strong communicator, capable of articulating the case for legacy giving to a wide range of stakeholders.


We are pleased to accept applications from individuals who possess transferable skills and experience drawn from sectors outside of Higher Education.
