We are recruiting for a Legal Cashier to work within a small but busy accounts team at our head office in Fulwood. This role is part-time 3 days a week Wednesday - Fridays (21 hours a week), with optional overtime available when holiday cover is required.
Daily tasks include but not limited to:- Bank reconciliations, TT payments, account entries, dealing with ad hoc enquiries from department staff members , filing of invoices/bills/statements, dealing with petty cash requests and credit control functions (including chasing clients with unpaid bills) and any accounts based tasks given by the Practice Manager or Head of Accounts.
Requirements -
1. Previous experience in a solicitors' accounts office is preferred but not essential.
2. Previous accounts experience is essential.
3. Excellent numeracy and bookkeeping skills
4. Must be a team player and have the ability to multitask
5. Must have excellent attention to detail and must be good in dealing with internal stakeholders
