Experienced Commercial Solicitor (5-10 PQE)

Part-Time, Flexible Working

Accuflex has a great opportunity for a talented and experienced Commercial Solicitor (5 to 10 years PQE) to join our client, a pioneering company operating at the intersection of health, science, and regulatory innovation. This part-time role (2-3 days per week) offers a long-term opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a dynamic and purpose-driven in-house legal team.

Key Responsibilities:

Contract Drafting and Negotiation:

Draft and review commercial agreements, including bespoke contracts tailored to evolving business needs.

Legal Oversight:

Provide judgment-based sign-off and support to senior legal stakeholders, ensuring high-quality legal outcomes.

Cross-Functional Support:

Offer practical advice across commercial law, data protection, employment, and regulatory compliance.

Precedent Development:

Create and maintain precedent agreements for repeat deal types.

Project Involvement:

Contribute to internal initiatives with a legal lens, helping drive strategic outcomes.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

Work closely with leadership and operational teams, balancing legal rigour with commercial pragmatism.

Candidate Profile:

Qualified Solicitor with 5-10 years' post-qualified experience (PQE). Strong commercial contracts experience (essential). Exposure to employment, data protection, and regulatory matters (preferred) Supportive, pragmatic mindset; ideally someone seeking meaningful, balanced work over career progression. Particularly well suited to those looking for flexibility due to lifestyle or family commitments.
