Legal Document Courier (Process Server) - Oxford & Surrounding Counties



We are a London?based Process Serving company seeking a

self?employed Legal Document Courier

to support our Charity client. This position focuses on delivering family-related legal documents within Oxfordshire and nearby areas.

Duties



Safely and efficiently deliver legal court documents to respondents at their homes or places of business Follow pre-planned routes and schedules to ensure prompt service Provide excellent customer service--professional, courteous, and helpful at all times Keep accurate records of all deliveries and collect proof of service (e.g. time-stamped photographs) Handle basic administrative tasks such as organizing, logging, and maintaining paperwork

Requirements



Valid UK driver's licence with a clean driving record Access to an electric vehicle or scooter (preferred) High-performance laser printer (we can provide one if needed) ICO registration and public liability insurance (we can reimburse or assist with setup) Strong organizational skills and the ability to plan efficient delivery routes Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Flexible schedule and availability--must be able to respond on short notice Self-motivation and the ability to work independently

Desirable Experience



Past experience in legal services, process serving, or document delivery Current work as a delivery driver (e.g. Amazon, Deliveroo) or student seeking additional income

Job Highlights



20?-?25 per visit (average 3-8 visits per week; may increase as business grows) Flexible hours--mornings, afternoons, and evenings Part-time or weekend availability; potential for full-time if demand increases Weekly or monthly payments Supportive and friendly management--your satisfaction matters

A Typical Day



Receive assignment briefings from the Director via WhatsApp, email, or phone Travel across Oxfordshire and nearby towns (e.g. High Wycombe, Stokenchurch) as needed Deliver documents in person or by letterbox (when allowed under CPR rules) Keep the Director informed throughout each job Complete assignments sequentially and respond quickly to new tasks
Because requests may come at any time, flexibility in geography and schedule is essential.
