Role Description



A skilled and organised professional with a wealth of experience in providing secretarial and admin support to Paralegals, Solicitors and Directors of Law. Adept in office management and administration. Responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of our standard legal procedures, providing essential support to the legal team, following strict confidentiality at all times A proven track record of handling various legal administration tasks including (but not limited to), AML compliance, preparation of legal documentation and providing a full secretarial support service in all aspects of property law.

Key Accountabilities



Serve as a point of contact for paralegals/Solicitors/Directors of Law File opening and SRA compliance on our case management system, including conflict checks, client i.d. verification, AML checks and maintaining compliance records Supporting lawyers with essential property searches Prepare, format, and proofread real estate-specific legal documents, including leases, contracts, transfer deeds, and completion statements Administrative tasks on transactions, such as preparing and submitting Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) forms and Land Registry applications Preparation and formatting of legal documents to a high standard The ability to work under pressure, sometimes to tight deadlines and be able to prioritise your own workload Preparation of and sending out of DocuSign envelopes Working using the WBR Law case management system Creation, preparation and sending out of invoices Handle phone calls, enquiries and requests, helping where possible and redirecting queries as necessary Maintain confidential records and files ensuring data integrity and security Collaborate with others in the firm to provide a seamless service between WBR Law and the other companies within the WBR Group Supporting paralegals in offering training and support, where necessary Comply with the Health & Safety Guidelines as set out in the Health & Safety Management System document Demonstrate behaviours in line with our Company Values 'PEER' Ensure compliance with our Company policies, procedures and guidelines The role may be subject to credit & DBS checks

Skills and Experience



Minimum of three years' experience working as a Personal Assistant/Senior Secretary in a law environment Clear communication skills and exceptional attention to detail Strong organisational and multi-tasking skills Excellent communication and inter-personable abilities Proficiency in MS Office Suite Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information Ability to work independently and in a team Adaptability and willingness to take on additional responsibilities
