As a Leisure Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service by organising your work and completing required checks in a timely manner ensuring a high standard of tidiness and cleanliness in all areas of the club. You will report for duty on time, adhere to departmental personal presentation standards, and submit time off requests as per department guidelines. Attending planned learning sessions and organising work tools efficiently are key to ensuring top-notch customer service. Being aware of departmental standards, goals, objectives, and performance is essential to your role.

What will I be doing?
Carry out fitness assessments on members as required
Conduct fitness programmes and inductions
Understand and advise members and guests on the correct usage of gym equipment
Ensure adequate coverage of the pool, gym and reception
Carry out regular pool tests
Maintain cleanliness of reception, changing rooms, pool side and gym facilities
Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Promote the facilities to hotel residents and perspective members
What are we looking for?
NVQ level 2 in a sport related topic
High level of personal hygiene and grooming standards
