Lettings Co-ordinator (25,000 to 27,000 negotiable based on experience and qualifications). If you are looking for a career rather than a job this could be the position for you. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lettings Co-Ordinator based at our office in Newington, Edinburgh.

The Property Letting Centre has been established for over twenty years and we are looking for a positive individual to be part of our already successful team. We have ambitious plans for growth so we are looking for a career minded, ambitious individual with experience in a letting agency to join us.

This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with at least one years experience in a letting agency, to develop their career. Our managers have been promoted from within and we encourage this wherever possible. Applications will only be considered from candidates who have at least one years experience working in a letting agency.

The role will involve.

Preparing marketing of our managed properties, creating advertising on-line, arranging shop front displays and arranging to let boards to be displayed.

Dealing with viewing enquiries arriving into the business. Arranging viewing appointments for our Viewing Assistants. The role will require carrying some out viewings so a full driving licence is required.

Speaking with our landlords in relation to their property being advertised and discussing any works which may be required.

Dealing with clients who have expressed an interest in a property.

Managing the application and referencing process.

Creating tenancy documents and issuing with regulatory certificates to tenants electronically.

Registering utility and council tax accounts and dealing with gap period bills.

Providing references for our outgoing tenants.

Assisting our viewing agents by carrying out viewings

Completing weekly management reports for the management team.

Other admin tasks

Full training will be provided and for the right person and there is the possibility of being placed on the CIH Level 3 Certificate in Letting and Managing Property programme. Conditions apply.

Excellent organisational and clear communications skills, both verbal and written are a must. Candidates must have the ability to prioritise works as well as show flexibility to all aspects of the role. The candidate must be able to demonstrate their attention to detail as accuracy and clear presentation of reports is vital!! Candidates should be well versed in Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Word and Excel. Full driving licence essential. Salary will depend on qualifications, experience and suitability to role. Hours of business are 09:30 to 17:30 Monday to Friday, 37 per week. Overtime may be available from time to time. To apply please e-mail a covering letter along with your CV
