We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Lettings Manager to oversee our property lettings operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to communicate effectively overseeing the running of the department and liaising with clients and team members.
This role is essential in ensuring that the lettings department runs smoothly and efficiently, providing excellent service to landlords and tenants alike.
Duties
Management role to oversee the lettings department along with day to day management responsibilities such as managing the entire lettings process from initial enquiry through to tenancy commencement.
To Liaise with other Managers/Directors and all staff within the company
Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations within the lettings sector.
In charge of the lettings accountancy software and ensuring reconciliations are carried out daily
Liaise with landlords regarding property management, marketing strategies, and tenant selection.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless transition for tenants moving in or out of properties.
Maintain accurate records of all transactions and communications within the lettings database.
Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any queries or concerns from tenants or landlords promptly.
Train and mentor staff members where required, fostering a positive team environment.
Able to problem solve and dispute resolution qualities
Requirements
Proven experience in a lettings or property management role is essential.
Proficient in using property management and accountancy software.
Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.
Excellent organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clients.
A thorough understanding of current property legislation and market trends is desirable.
