Known for delivering exceptional service, we are now seeking a dynamic and experienced Lettings Manager to oversee our growing portfolio and drive operational excellence across the business.
What You'll Be Doing
This is a varied, hands-on role that blends leadership, compliance, property management, and customer service. You'll be the go-to person for tenants, landlords, and the internal team, ensuring a smooth lettings process from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the full lettings process: marketing, viewings, vetting applicants, negotiating terms, and signing agreements.
Conduct landlord appraisals and property inspections.
Oversee tenant onboarding, renewals, and check-outs.
Ensure ongoing compliance with legal and safety regulations (EPCs, EICRs, Gas Safety, HMO licensing).
Manage maintenance requests, liaise with contractors, and monitor repairs.
Handle tenancy queries, disputes, and arrears with professionalism.
Maintain accurate property records and tenancy documentation.
Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, tenants, and local contractors.
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in lettings or property management (ideally in residential and/or student accommodation).
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and thrive under pressure.
Strong knowledge of property compliance and legislation.
Confident handling negotiations and problem-solving independently.
ARLA or other industry qualifications (preferred but not essential).
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (required).
Local knowledge of Ormskirk and surrounding areas (advantageous).
