Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Lettings Manager to oversee our property lettings operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. As a Lettings Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing the lettings process, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction while maximising rental income for our portfolio of properties.

Duties

Manage the end-to-end lettings process, from property marketing to tenant move-in. Conduct viewings and provide potential tenants with detailed information about properties. Screen prospective tenants through application processes, including background checks and references. Maintain accurate records of all lettings activities and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new tenants and promote available properties. Liaise with landlords to provide updates on their properties and discuss any issues that may arise. Coordinate maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution of tenant concerns. Provide exceptional customer service to both landlords and tenants, fostering positive relationships. Supervise and mentor junior staff members within the lettings team.

Requirements

Proven experience in a lettings or property management role is preferred. Strong administrative skills with a keen attention to detail. Excellent organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective interaction with diverse clients. Multilingual capabilities are advantageous, enhancing communication with a broader range of clients. A proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution. Familiarity with property management software is beneficial but not essential.
