Job Summary
We are a small, friendly, family-run company, whose purpose is to manage our own real estate portfolio of around 200 properties.
We are seeking a part time Lettings Negotiator/Administrator to join our team, to work 3 days a week (9 - 5.30pm with 30 minutes lunch break) including 1 weekend day (or if this is not possible then at least 2 weekend days a month, as required to do viewings) starting ASAP.
The role involves Lettings and Property Management tasks, such as undertaking viewings, writing snagging lists of maintenance works required in properties, performing Inventories and Checkout reports, and move in and move out appointments, finding and instructing reliable and good priced contractors, etc.
It also involves Admin tasks such as emailing, printing, photocopying, filing, etc, at our office in Rochdale OL16 1TA.
There are excellent opportunities for progression for the right person- perhaps going full time if desired, or earning pay increases, as we are expanding rapidly- constantly buying more properties, and need more staff.
The ideal candidate will be a hard-working, confident, motivated self-starter, a good judge of character, with a keen eye for detail, and excellent customer service and literacy skills.
Our operating area is throughout the North West and West Yorkshire, and the successful candidate must have a full clean driving licence, and their own vehicle, and be prepared to drive long distances every day, in order to drive to our properties. Mileage will be reimbursed as per Government guidelines, to and from your base at Head Office OL161TA (currently 45p per business mile for the first 10,000 miles and 25p per business mile thereafter).
Skills
- Proficient in written and verbal English. An 'A' or equivalent at GCSE is preferred.
- 2 years lettings experience is preferred
- Excellent customer service skills required
- Resilience, adaptability, and excellent problem-solving skills required
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and follow instructions accurately
- Must have a full, clean, driving licence, and your own car.
