to lead engaging, safe, and fun gymnastics sessions for children and young people of all abilities. The ideal candidate is passionate about developing technique, building confidence, and creating a positive environment rooted in encouragement and inclusion.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality gymnastics classes for various age groups and skill levels
Provide safe progressions in fundamental and advanced skills (floor, bars, beam, vault, etc.)
Ensure a positive, encouraging, and inclusive learning space
Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities
Support the physical and emotional well-being of each child
Communicate professionally with students, parents, and team members
Maintain health and safety standards at all times
Participate in team meetings, training, and club events as required
What We're Looking For
Experience coaching gymnastics (recreational or competitive)
A recognised coaching qualification or willingness to work towards one
Commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and positive reinforcement
Energetic, patient, and reliable with excellent communication skills
Comfortable working with diverse communities and promoting representation
Desirable but not essential:
Experience working with children of colour or in culturally responsive environments
First Aid and Safeguarding certifications
Knowledge of cheerleading or tumbling (bonus)
