This role can be split between candidates or the right applicant can take all hours offered :

Level 2 Gymnastics Coach

Between 4- 15 hours - days can be discussed.

Additional hours could be discussed for the right applicant.

Extra Curricular classes at schools teaching gymnastics is also available

(please note, classes do not exceed 18 participants with a minimum of 3 coaches per class)

Level 1 Gymnastics Coach

Varied evening hours available and weekend day time work

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

Working knowledge in gymnastics : Level 1 GG / Level 1 WAG / Level 2 GG / Level 2 WAG needed. Would consider other disciplines for the right candidate. Demonstrated ability to teach the development of skills and proper techniques on each apparatus or willingness to learn the above. Ability to lift equipment and to spot children. Ability to motivate and effectively communicate with members, nonmembers, parents and students Typical requirements within 90 days of hire include; being willing to attend courses if necessary, BG memberships and DBS checks. Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community. Experience working with children!
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide continuous supervision at all times. Keep attendance records for your classes using our chosen software. Communicate to lead coach/head coach/welfare officer any problems, concerns or suggestions regarding children. Assist Vivace in positively marketing our club and programs to Vivace members and community. Be punctual. Arrive 15 minutes prior to class to set up & prepare for class. Keep gym, seating area and equipment clean at all times. Attend staff meetings and meet with lead coach/head coach as scheduled. Dress appropriately for coaching duties (Including coaching shirt [Supplied], black/blue leggings or shorts.) Maintain and project a positive attitude in the gymnastics area and all other areas of Vivace. Employees should report to lead coach/head coach regarding their role for the session before each session. No personal use of mobile phones or electronics whilst classes are ongoing. Fill out incident reports when needed and turn them in to head coach/lead coach.

Pay: 8.00-15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 15 per week
