Overview:?We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic apprentice to join our team in the materials handling industry. This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the manufacture of goods lifts and scissor lifts. The successful candidate will learn a variety of workshop activities, including welding, electrical and electronic systems, hydraulic systems, design and assembly.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the manufacture and assembly of goods lifts and scissor lifts.
Learn and perform welding tasks under supervision.
Gain knowledge and experience in electrical systems and components.
Understand and work with hydraulic systems.
Participate in the assembly process of various products.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised workshop environment.
Collaborate with experienced technicians and engineers to complete tasks.
Requirements:
Willingness to travel to customer sites to complete installation and servicing work.
A keen interest in the machine manufacture processes.
Basic understanding of workshop tools and equipment.
Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
Good communication skills.
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Level 2 apprenticeship course covering welding, electrical work, hydraulic systems, and assembly.
