Looking to kickstart your career in carpentry?
We're recruiting for a Carpentry & Joinery Apprentice on a large new build project in Southwark.
This role combines practical site-based learning with full support to complete your Level 2 Carpentry and Joinery Apprenticeship.

What You'll Be Doing:

Learn and develop carpentry and joinery skills on a live construction site Work alongside experienced tradespeople and site supervisors Assist with structural framing, fixings, door and window fitting, and finishing works Maintain high standards of attendance and punctuality Follow instructions and contribute to team goals on site

What We're Looking For:

Aged 18 or over (no upper age limit) Currently working towards or previously completed a Level 2 Construction Diploma, with relevant experience in Carpentry and Joinery GCSEs or equivalent in Maths and English CSCS Card holder Good references from a tutor or previous employer

Must be a resident of the London Borough of Southwark

Personal Qualities:

Strong work ethic and willingness to work in all weather conditions Physically fit and punctual Detail-oriented with good dexterity Positive attitude and team player Good communication skills

What's On Offer:

12.25 per hour / 490 per week Full-time apprenticeship (40 hours per week) Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday Support to complete Level 2 Carpentry & Joinery Apprenticeship Potential progression into full-time employment as an improver upon successful completion
