Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Gymnastics Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports coaching and teaching, with the ability to inspire and motivate young athletes. As a Gymnastics Coach, you will be responsible for developing gymnastic skills, promoting physical fitness, and fostering a positive and encouraging environment for all participants.

Responsibilities

Design and implement engaging gymnastics training programmes tailored to various skill levels. Teach fundamental gymnastics techniques including tumbling, balance beam, and vaulting. Provide constructive feedback to athletes to help them improve their skills and confidence. Ensure the safety of all participants by maintaining a clean and organised training area. Monitor the progress of each gymnast and adapt training methods as necessary. Foster teamwork and sportsmanship among athletes during practices and competitions. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with coaching techniques and safety protocols.

Experience

Previous experience in sports coaching or teaching is essential, preferably within gymnastics or related disciplines. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children of various ages and skill levels. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage athletes positively. Relevant coaching qualifications or certifications are preferred but not required; we are willing to support professional development opportunities for the right candidate.
