Nursery Practitioner

This is a full time position of 40- 50 hours per week working 8am-6pm.
Overview:
We are excited to welcome a dedicated and enthusiastic
Early Years Practitioner
to our newly opened nursery located near Folkestone town centre. Opened in September 2024, our nursery is growing rapidly, and we are looking for someone who is passionate about early childhood education and committed to providing a high standard of care and learning for young children.

About Us:
Goldilocks Nursery provides high-quality early years education in a nurturing, play-based environment. We follow the
Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
and
Birth to Five Matters
guidance to ensure every child is supported holistically through their unique learning journey.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide safe, stimulating, and engaging care for children aged 0-5
Plan and deliver creative activities based on EYFS guidelines
Observe and track children's development, updating progress records regularly
Build positive relationships with children, families, and the wider team
Work collaboratively in a supportive team environment
Maintain health and safety standards and a clean learning environment
Qualifications:
Experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood education setting
Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children and parents
Knowledge of childcare best practices and child development
Leadership and
A
Level 2 or Level 3 qualification
in Early Years/Childcare (or equivalent) - essential
Paediatric First Aid
certificate (or willingness to complete one)
An Enchanted DBS Check (or willingness to complete one)

Pay: 12.35-12.45 per hour
