Rainbow Childcare, an "Outstanding" nursery are thrilled to be on the lookout for a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as an Early Years Practitioner.

- Early Years Practitioner

As an Early Years Practitioner with us, you'll be responsible for:

- Following all our policies, as well as adhering to the Children Act, Health and Safety legislation, and Ofsted and The Early Years Foundation Stage guidelines.

- Maintaining confidentiality at all times, both on and off our premises.

- Possibly taking on key-holder responsibilities.

- Working closely with your colleagues, ensuring effective communication, and providing day-to-day care and supervision to the children.

- Planning and preparing activities to support the children's developmental needs.

- Communicating with parents daily, offering feedback and addressing any questions or concerns they may have.

- Promoting equal opportunities for all children and following individual programs for those with special educational needs.

- Recording accidents, incidents, and risk assessments accurately and where applicable.

- Attending staff meetings, training sessions, and other events.

Requirements:

- Preferably 2 years of childcare experience

- Required 2 years of nursery experience

- Mandatory childcare qualification - Level 3 or above

- Advanced DBS

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 25,400 - 28,000 per year

Expected hours: 40 per week
