In the nursery world, every day brings a new challenge, new exciting activities and a fabulous set of smiles. Duties also differ according to the day, age range and role however the below are some examples of our day-to-day tasks:
-Consistently ensure a safe and pleasant learning environment; this is achieved via completing risk assessments and keeping alert
-Provide appropriately challenging learning activities to suit individual needs
-Communicate! Communication is a key skill within childcare, the children love to hear stories, singing and lots of conversation!
-Complete and support self-care routines
-Liase with parents, carers and families
-Complete neccesary paper work; daily diary records, check sheets etc.
-Strive to provide continuous excellent care and development opportunities
