Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable Heating Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical systems, with knowledge in heating technologies and system design. This role will involve working on various projects, ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of heating systems, while adhering to industry standards and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

Design, install, and maintain heating systems in residential and commercial properties. Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics of existing heating systems to identify issues and recommend solutions. Utilise CAD software to create detailed schematics and designs for heating installations. Perform root cause analysis on system failures to enhance reliability and performance. Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to ensure seamless integration of heating systems with existing infrastructure. Develop control strategies using logic controllers and Simulink for optimal system performance. Maintain accurate documentation of all work performed, including system designs and modifications. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to heating technologies.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Heating Engineer/ Gas engineer or in a similar role within the heating/plumbing domain. Strong mechanical knowledge with a focus on heating systems and technologies. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with clients and colleagues.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 39,898.00-40,507.00 per year
