We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Level 3 Qualified Practitioner to join our team on a part-time basis, working between 20 and 35 hours per week. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality childcare within a nurturing environment. Duties
Organise and deliver engaging educational activities tailored to children's developmental needs
Supervise and support children during play, learning, and mealtime routines
Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that encourages children's independence and curiosity
Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily activities
Collaborate with colleagues to plan curriculum development and organise group activities
Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and wellbeing
Support the management team in implementing policies and procedures related to childcare standards
Lead by example in demonstrating excellent childcare practices and behaviour management strategies
Requirements
recognised Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Childhood Education
Proven experience working with children within nursery or childcare settings
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage groups of children effectively
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education frameworks
Ability to organise activities that promote learning through play
Valid driving licence is desirable for transporting children or attending external events
Management experience is advantageous but not essential; willingness to develop leadership capabilities is important
Passionate about providing high standards of care and education in a supportive environment
