Job Description

We are recruiting a Tutor to deliver modules within the NCFE Level 4 Diploma in Data Analyst and related computing subjects, including Cybersecurity, Databases, Programming, Computing and Business Intelligence. The successful candidate will be responsible for the academic delivery and learner support across designated teaching days, contributing to a high-quality learner experience.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver high-quality teaching sessions aligned with the NCFE curriculum

Develop lesson plans, schemes of work, and assessment resources

Support and assess learners through formative and summative assessments

Maintain accurate records of learner progress and attendance

Participate in standardisation meetings and contribute to quality assurance processes

Ensure compliance with EQA standards and internal quality requirements

Provide academic and pastoral support to learners

Collaborate with staff across campuses for consistent programme delivery

Contribute to enhancement activities including workshops and guest sessions (15 hours annually)

Person Specification

Essential Criteria

Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, or equivalent Level 3 or higher teaching award)

Subject expertise in Data Analysis, Programming, Databases, Cybersecurity or BI tools

Experience teaching in FE or HE sectors in the UK or internationally

Proficiency in tools such as Python, SQL, Power BI or equivalent

Strong communication and classroom management skills

Eligible to work in the UK

Willingness to undergo DBS check

Desirable Criteria

Experience in delivering vocational qualifications (preferably NCFE or similar)

Familiarity with EQA and internal quality assurance procedures

Experience with digital/hybrid delivery environments

Knowledge of curriculum planning and learner differentiation

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 20.00-25.00 per hour
