Purpose Of the Role:
??Scheduled delivery and pickup of shipments?.
Key Responsibilities:
Carrying out multi-drop pallet deliveries and collections throughout the day, keeping schedules on track
Loading and unloading Class 2 rigid vehicles efficiently and safely
Adhering to all legal requirements, including tachograph, ADR, vehicle safety, and load securing regulations, while maintaining high standards of quality and customer service
Managing freight documentation accurately using our internal systems and electronic devices
Performing regular vehicle checks and taking care of your assigned vehicle
Starting shifts between 5:30 AM - 6:30 AM
Representing the company professionally with a positive, customer-focused attitude
The Ideal candidate will have:
Holds a valid Class 2 driving license
Has experience with trunking and rota-based delivery routes
Possesses a strong understanding of tachograph regulations, ADR, vehicle safety, and load securing procedures
Is dependable with vehicle checks and maintenance
Demonstrates excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus
Works effectively both independently and as part of a team
Is flexible with shifts and routes
Has solid geographical knowledge of Central London
ADR certification (or willingness to obtain) for the safe transport of hazardous goods.
