Role Overview

As an LGV Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for the scheduled delivery and pickup of shipments, ensuring timely and safe transport across routes.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform multi-drop pallet deliveries and collections Load and unload Class 2 rigid vehicles safely and efficiently Comply with legal and safety regulations including tachograph, ADR, vehicle safety, and load securing Accurately manage freight documentation using internal systems and electronic devices Conduct regular vehicle checks and maintain assigned vehicle Start shifts between 5:30 AM and 6:30 AM Represent DACHSER professionally with a customer-focused attitude

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Holds a valid Class 2 driving license Experienced in trunking and rota-based delivery routes Knowledgeable in tachograph regulations, ADR, vehicle safety, and load securing Reliable in conducting vehicle checks and maintenance Strong communication skills and customer service orientation Able to work independently and as part of a team Flexible with shift times and delivery routes Good geographical knowledge of Central London ADR certification (or willingness to obtain) for transporting hazardous goods
