Now, that reliability and experience is being driven into our Colson Driver Training School; we are growing and need a HGV Driver Trainer to join our team!

Summary

We are seeking a dedicated HGV Driver Trainer:

? Key Responsibilities:

Deliver practical HGV driver training (Class 1 and/or 2). Coach and mentor new and existing drivers to improve safety and efficiency. Conduct driving assessments and provide feedback. Stay current with DVSA standards, compliance, and road transport legislation. Maintain training records and prepare trainees for theory and practical tests.
? Essential Requirements:

Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (C) license. Minimum 3-5 years HGV driving experience. Good knowledge of driver hours, tacho rules, and road safety. Excellent communication and people skills. Approved Driving Instructor (ADI), NRI qualification, or equivalent (or willingness to obtain).
? Desirable:

Previous experience in a training/instructional role. Transport Manager CPC or equivalent qualification. DVSA or RTITB accreditation.
? Salary & Benefits (suggestion - tailor to your offer):

Salary: 35,000-40,000 per annum (depending on experience). Monday to Friday, 7am-4pm Pension scheme. Ongoing training and development.
