The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Library Assistant to join the team at St Andrews. As part of the team, you will undertake duties relating to the operation of the library providing direct customer engagement and support as well as all library duties. This includes providing advice, information, logging requests for services and taking payments. You'll help with the delivery of OnFife services and contribute to the ongoing development of OnFife. This is a permanent post working 28 hours per week (Wednesday 9.30am - 5pm, Thursday 10am - 6pm, Friday 9am - 5pm & Saturday 9.30am - 4pm).

About You
We are looking for a friendly, cheerful person who is positive and self-driven. You should be able to work independently, as well as part of a wider team and be passionate about delivering the best service to our customers. It is desirable that you hold a driving license as you will be required to provide staffing cover at the single staff branches within the St Andrews Cluster, these include Elie, St Monans & Tayport Libraries (this forms an essential part of the role).
