We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and professional individual with excellent communication skills and experience of effective partnership working to join our service.
This post plays a vital role in the Council's licensing function, providing high levels of support to the Council's licensing committees, and supporting wider Public Protection objectives.
The successful candidate will be responsible for processing applications in respect of various aspects of the Local Authority Licensing function and the enforcement of all relevant legislation. This is a diverse role covering alcohol, taxi, and animal licensing as well as other miscellaneous licensable activities which includes dealing with complaints from both the trade and members of the public.

This includes working supportively with licensees to ensure not only consumer confidence and safety, but also a positive business environment. For this we need the right person matching our ambition.
We offer a hybrid working scheme and you will be based within the Public Health and Protection Department at Ty Elai, Williamstown, Tonypandy. You will need to be flexible to meet the requirements of the post, working evenings and weekends as required, and to support the Licensing Committees of the Council.
