We are seeking a skilled Lift / Escalator Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves overseeing the design, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of lift and escalator systems within various construction and infrastructure projects. Responsibilities

Lead the planning and scheduling of lift and escalator projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet project milestones. Develop detailed system designs utilizing AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and other CAD tools to ensure compliance with safety standards and client specifications. Manage project documentation using Bluebeam and other construction management software to track progress and facilitate communication. Conduct site assessments employing GIS, ArcGIS, and transportation planning techniques to inform system integration within existing infrastructure. Oversee installation processes, ensuring adherence to engineering standards and safety protocols during construction phases. Perform troubleshooting and maintenance of lift/escalator systems, diagnosing issues using technical manuals and system diagnostics tools. Prepare technical reports and documentation through technical writing to support project proposals, compliance submissions, and operational procedures. Collaborate with project engineers and stakeholders to optimize system design, improve efficiency, and ensure regulatory compliance. Ensure timely completion of projects by managing project schedules effectively while maintaining high quality standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; advanced certifications in system design or project management are a plus. Proven experience in construction management, civil engineering, or transportation planning related to lift/escalator systems. Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation; experience with Bluebeam is preferred. Strong knowledge of GIS tools including ArcGIS for site analysis and transportation planning. Familiarity with system design principles for vertical transportation systems. Excellent project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously. Effective technical writing skills for creating detailed reports and documentation. Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced environments. Knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to lift/escalator installation and maintenance is highly desirable.
