Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of kitchen operations within a restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation, while also adhering to food safety regulations.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food production is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations. Assist in the supervision of kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during busy periods. Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies when necessary. Contribute to menu development by suggesting new dishes or improvements to existing ones.

Qualifications

Proven experience in food preparation within a hospitality or restaurant setting. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen hygiene standards. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate team members. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate teamwork in the kitchen. A genuine passion for cooking and delivering high-quality dishes to customers.

Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour
