Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure the highest level of food safety and hygiene practices are maintained at all times. Assist in supervising kitchen staff and providing guidance during food preparation. Manage food production processes efficiently to meet service demands. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and high-quality output. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils. Help train new staff in cooking techniques, food safety, and kitchen procedures. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to management.

Requirements

Proven experience in food preparation or as a cook in a fast-paced environment. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate team members. Excellent culinary skills with a passion for hospitality and customer satisfaction. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
