We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in food preparation, ensuring that all meals are prepared to the highest standards of food safety and culinary excellence. Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and portioning. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the cooking process. Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management to ensure adequate supplies are available. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality control of dishes. Supervise junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed. Keep the kitchen area clean and organised, adhering to health and safety regulations. Participate in menu planning and development as required.

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen or food production environment is essential. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in hospitality. Leadership qualities with the ability to supervise and motivate team members effectively. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work well under pressure in a busy setting. A passion for cooking and an eagerness to learn new skills within the culinary field.
