We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and production, with a keen understanding of food safety and culinary techniques. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our dishes are prepared to the highest standards, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen workspace, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service periods. Assist in managing inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste. Supervise junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and support in food preparation techniques. Ensure that all dishes are presented beautifully and served promptly to maintain high customer satisfaction levels. Participate in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes.

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen environment is essential, preferably within a restaurant setting. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is required. Experience in team management or supervising kitchen staff is advantageous. A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional service is essential for success in this role. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail is crucial.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 12.21-13.50 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
