Responsibilities



Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation. Assist in the management of kitchen operations, including food production, inventory control, and maintaining cleanliness. Supervise junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality food preparation. Maintain strict adherence to food safety guidelines and hygiene standards. Collaborate with other kitchen team members to ensure timely service during peak hours. Help develop new menu items and contribute innovative ideas for improving the culinary experience. Monitor stock levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages or issues to management. Participate in training sessions for new staff members on cooking techniques and kitchen procedures.

Qualifications



Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within the hospitality industry. Strong culinary skills with knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in a kitchen environment. Excellent team management skills with the ability to supervise and motivate staff effectively. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in food preparation. A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional dining experiences. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Pay: 12.21-13.21 per hour
