We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards. Supervise and manage kitchen staff during food production to ensure efficient workflow. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations. Assist in the training of new kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Participate in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes. Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations, maintaining high standards of hygiene.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within the hospitality industry. Strong culinary skills with an understanding of food preparation techniques and cooking methods. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy kitchen environment. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate teamwork. A passion for cooking and delivering exceptional dining experiences for guests. Previous restaurant experience is advantageous but not mandatory; culinary qualifications are a plus.
