Northern Soul is seeking a skilled and passionate Line Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a real interest in food and have a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Chef, you will play a crucial role in food preparation, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of taste and presentation while adhering to food safety regulations.
Duties
:
Prepare and cook menu items according to established specifications and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
Ensure all food is stored properly and in compliance with food safety regulations.
Collaborate with the Kitchen manager and other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment.
What we are looking for:
Proven experience as a Line Chef in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary skills, and food safety standards.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
A passion for cooking and creating exceptional dining experiences for guests.
