We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, while upholding the highest standards of food safety and hospitality.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Assist in the supervision of kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and high-quality food presentation. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies when necessary. Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols. Help create a positive work environment by fostering teamwork and communication among staff.

Experience

Previous experience as a cook in a restaurant or similar setting is preferred. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively. Knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety practices. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of cooking and presentation. A passion for hospitality and providing exceptional service to guests.

Pay: 13.00-14.00 per hour
