We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and quality standards
Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times
Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods
Monitor stock levels and notify management of supply needs
Assist with meal presentation to ensure visual appeal of dishes before serving
Support other kitchen staff as needed to maintain smooth operations
Qualifications
Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or similar setting
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper hygiene practices
Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings if required
Culinary training or relevant qualifications are advantageous but not essential
