Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work station throughout shifts Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients Support the team during busy periods to ensure smooth kitchen operations Restock ingredients and supplies as needed to ensure efficient workflow Collaborate with front-of-house staff to deliver excellent customer service

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant environment Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team Previous experience in meal preparation and serving is advantageous A genuine passion for culinary arts and continuous learning in the kitchen
