Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and quality standards Assist in the organisation and cleanliness of the kitchen area Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations Maintain stock levels and notify management of shortages or necessary supplies Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods Follow health and safety guidelines at all times, including proper handling and storage of ingredients Assist with meal preparation for special events or catering as required Serve food efficiently and courteously to guests when necessary

Experience

Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, ideally within a restaurant setting Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations Experience with meal preparation, cooking, and serving in a fast-paced environment Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable but not essential for motivated candidates willing to learn Ability to work effectively as part of a team, demonstrating excellent communication skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: From 12.21 per hour
