We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our Kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in the preparation and presentation of meals, ensuring that every dish meets our catering standards.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and specifications.
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times.
Assist in the training of new kitchen staff as needed.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours.
Help with inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies when necessary.
Requirements
Experience as a Cook in a restaurant or similar kitchen environment preferred.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in meal preparation.
A passion for cooking and creativity in presenting dishes.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
