Line Leader Production MM FLOWERS - Alconbury Weald

Location:

Pierson Road, The Enterprise Campus, Alconbury Weald, Huntingdon, PE28 4YA

Contract:

Sunday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Saturday (average 40.25 hours per week)

Shifts:

Days:

6:30am - 7:00pm, 13.78 per hour (overtime 17.23 per hour)

Nights:

6:30pm - 7:00am, 17.23 per hour (overtime 21.53 per hour)

Pay:

Paid monthly

Benefits:

5% pension, BUPA (employee only)

MM Flowers is looking for a reliable and motivated

Line Leader

to join our production team. You'll be responsible for managing a team of 8-20 operatives, ensuring products are packed and processed efficiently and to customer specifications. This is a key leadership role focused on quality, productivity, and people development in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and motivate a team to meet daily production targets Ensure all products meet the required quality, specification, and presentation standards Carry out traceability checks (OAL/Olympus) and input data into the ERP system (Rubicon) Balance production lines for efficiency and optimise staff allocation Support, train, and develop new and existing team members Record and report on production counts, waste, and issues Escalate production or quality issues promptly to the Section Manager Maintain compliance with health & safety and GMP standards Represent the line during customer visits, audits, and internal reviews

What We're Looking For

Previous experience in a similar production or manufacturing leadership role Familiarity with traceability systems and ERP software (e.g. OAL, Rubicon) Strong team leadership and communication skills A proactive, hands-on approach to resolving issues and improving performance Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high standards Understanding of health & safety, hygiene, and compliance requirements
