Overview

We are seeking a skilled Printer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience with various printing techniques. This role involves operating printing machinery, ensuring quality control, and maintaining equipment. The Printer will also be responsible for assembling and fabricating printed materials as required. A commitment to safety and attention to detail is essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor printing machines to produce high-quality printed materials. Perform routine maintenance on printing equipment to ensure optimal performance. Assemble and fabricate printed products according to specifications. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively in the production process. Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards. Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations. Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including heavy lifting of materials and finished goods. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and improve processes.

Qualifications

Proven mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Experience using hand tools and power tools in a manufacturing or warehouse environment. Previous experience in a printing role or similar position essential. Strong attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality work. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
This job is based on a 40 hour week, working a rotating 3 shift pattern.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 25,000.00-41,152.45 per year
