Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Litigation Solicitor to join our growing team. The successful candidate will manage a diverse caseload, provide legal advice, and represent clients in dispute resolution, court proceedings, and negotiations. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver clear, client-focused advice under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle a varied caseload of civil and commercial litigation matters. Provide strategic legal advice to clients on disputes, risk management, and potential litigation outcomes. Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, contracts, settlement agreements, and court submissions. Represent clients in court, tribunals, and alternative dispute resolution proceedings. Liaise with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and regulatory bodies. Conduct legal research and maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and case precedents. Manage case files efficiently, ensuring deadlines and procedural requirements are met. Mentor and support junior solicitors or trainees, as required.

Skills and Qualifications:

Qualified solicitor (admitted to the roll of solicitors in England & Wales). Proven experience in litigation, civil disputes, or commercial law. Strong legal research, analytical, and drafting skills. Excellent advocacy and negotiation skills. Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently and meet deadlines. Proficiency in legal software and case management systems.
