Litigation Solicitor
to join our team and contribute to the continued growth of our dispute resolution practice.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will manage a
broad caseload of civil and commercial litigation matters
, representing clients in complex disputes. The role requires strong technical knowledge, commercial awareness, and the ability to handle cases from initial instruction through to settlement or trial.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of
civil and commercial litigation
matters, including:
Contractual disputes
Debt recovery and enforcement
Property and landlord-tenant disputes
Professional negligence
Employment-related claims (as applicable)
Breach of contract and shareholder disputes
Draft pleadings, witness statements, and other court documents.
Represent clients in correspondence, negotiations, and where appropriate, at hearings.
Instruct and liaise with counsel and experts as required.
Provide clear and practical legal advice to clients.
Ensure compliance with SRA and firm policies regarding client care and case management.
Support junior team members and contribute to departmental development and marketing initiatives.
Key Requirements
Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with
2-5 years PQE
in Litigation.
Experience handling a broad range of civil and/or commercial disputes.
Strong advocacy, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to manage a busy caseload independently and under pressure.
Excellent drafting skills and attention to detail.
A proactive, client-focused, and solution-oriented approach.
