We are seeking a dedicated and professional Litigation Solicitor specialising in Civil and Commercial Litigation to join our legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert legal advice, preparing documentation, and representing clients in various legal matters. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a dynamic environment, supporting clients across diverse sectors. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills and a thorough understanding of legal procedures, ensuring the delivery of high-quality legal services.

This role is suited to a confident and capable Litigation Solicitor who can manage matters from instruction through to resolution or trial. The successful candidate will handle a broad and varied caseload and will play an active role in maintaining high standards of client care, supervision, and compliance.

Although 5 years' PQE is preferred, candidates with demonstrable experience and the ability to manage files autonomously are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities



Drafting, reviewing, and amending legal documents such as contracts, agreements, statements of case, witness statements, and applications. Advising clients on their legal rights and obligations across a range of issues, including Contractual and Commercial Dispute, Debt Recovery and Enforcement, Property and Landlord & Tenant Disputes, and General Civil Litigation. Representing clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings as required. Ensuring compliance with Civil Procedure Rules, court directions, and deadlines. Attending hearings where required and briefing counsel appropriately. Supervising and mentoring junior fee earners, paralegals, and support staff. Ensuring strict adherence to SRA Standards and Regulations, firm policies, and compliance procedures. Maintaining accurate file management, time recording, billing, and case progression. Supporting business development initiatives, including client relationship management and referrals. Managing case files efficiently and maintaining accurate records of all client interactions. Collaborating with associates/coworkers and external parties to facilitate favourable outcomes for clients. Staying updated with current legislation and industry best practices to ensure compliance and effective counsel.

Skills



Qualified Solicitor of England and Wales with proven experience as a Solicitor. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to achieve mutually beneficial agreements. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple cases simultaneously. Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software. A thorough understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards within the legal profession.
