We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to oversee our bar operations and ensure an exceptional experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in bartending and food preparation, coupled with excellent team management skills. As a Bar Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of service, managing inventory, and leading a team of bartenders and kitchen staff.

This pub is based in Worcester very close to city centre massive beer garden sky sports , just needs a good manager to kick start it and this place will fly.

Live in all bills paid the more the pub takes the more you earn !

Duties

Manage day-to-day bar operations, ensuring smooth service and adherence to health and safety regulations. Supervise and train bar staff in bartending techniques, customer service, and food safety practices. Oversee the preparation of food items in accordance with menu specifications while maintaining high standards of food production. Develop and implement innovative drink menus that align with current trends and customer preferences. Maintain inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and manage stock control to minimise waste. Ensure compliance with all licensing laws and regulations related to the sale of alcohol. Foster a positive work environment by motivating staff and encouraging teamwork. Handle customer inquiries and complaints effectively to ensure satisfaction.

Skills

Proven experience in bartending with a strong understanding of drink recipes and presentation. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices is essential. Strong team management skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop staff effectively. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in a restaurant or kitchen setting. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with customers and staff alike. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for the hospitality industry with a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
