Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live- in carer to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care. The ideal candidate will have experience in patient care and a strong understanding of the unique needs of clients, particularly those requiring dementia care or hospice care. This role involves a variety of tasks aimed at enhancing the quality of life for our clients while ensuring their safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Administer medication as prescribed and monitor client health. Assist with meal preparation, ensuring dietary needs are met. Support clients with mobility and heavy lifting as required. Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients. Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to the appropriate personnel. Drive clients to appointments or social activities when necessary.

Experience

Previous experience in live-in caregiving Have access to your own vehicle and UK drivers license Knowledge of dementia care practices Familiarity with medication administration protocols is an asset. Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with physical mobility challenges. A caring attitude with a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care. Certification in first aid or CPR is advantageous

Pay: 12.90-14.15 per hour
