Job Summary

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings, including assisted living, nursing homes, and home care environments. Duties

Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity. Provide specialised care for individuals with Alzheimer's, dementia, or other cognitive impairments, implementing behaviour management strategies as needed. Support medication administration in accordance with healthcare plans and ensure timely delivery of treatments. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements and assist with feeding when necessary. Offer companionship and emotional support to minimise feelings of loneliness or isolation. Assist with light housekeeping tasks related to personal care areas and living spaces to maintain a safe environment. Drive clients to appointments, social activities, or errands using company vehicles where applicable. Respond promptly to medical emergencies by administering first aid and following established protocols. Document care provided accurately in compliance with organisational policies and healthcare regulations. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and other caregivers to ensure comprehensive support for clients.

Skills

Proven experience in assisted living, nursing home environments or home care settings. Strong patient care skills with knowledge of dementia, Alzheimer's, hospice, and senior care practices. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when assisting clients with mobility or transfers. Excellent communication skills for engaging effectively with clients, families, and team members. Competence in medication administration and basic first aid procedures. Valid driving licence for transporting clients safely when required. Organisational skills for managing multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
