Are you a compassionate and experienced Live-In Carer looking for a rewarding role?

We are seeking a

female live-in carer (required due to the need to provide personal care in line with the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1)

to support a gentleman with spinal injury care needs in

Nottingham (NG4)

. If you're a confident driver who enjoys supporting someone to maintain structure, independence, and daily outings, this could be the perfect role for you.

About the Role



This role is ideal for a calm, organised, and reliable carer who can follow a clear routine and offer respectful support. You'll provide one-on-one care, assisting with

personal care, mobility, transfers/equipment, and day-to-day tasks

to ensure the client's day runs smoothly. He enjoys getting out daily, so confidence driving his adapted vehicle is essential.

Location:

Nottingham NG4

Driver:

Essential - the client goes out every day and carers must drive his adapted vehicle and hold a clean driver's licence.

No pets. The client is a smoker, but only ever smokes outside and is completely independent with this.



Rota & Pay



Job type:

Live-in

Shift Pattern:

2 weeks live-in, 2 weeks off
(May vary slightly over Christmas depending on the routine.)

Following your rest period, you may have the option to work with another client for 1 week, or join our Standby rota if eligible.

Pay rate:

136.38 per day

Food allowance:

Full daily food allowance provided

Travel allowance:

Competitive for each placement

Live-In Care Responsibilities



Assist with personal care, mobility, meal prep, and daily living activities Provide support with spinal injury care and encourage independence Observe and record the client's health status and ensure their safety Drive and support with daily outings, community access, and appointments

What We're Looking For



Female carer required due to personal care needs

. You don't need prior spinal injury experience -- just a willingness to learn and follow the client's established routine.

Training & Support



Paragon is a specialist provider of spinal cord injury and complex care.
You'll receive

full training

before you start, and where possible, time will be given to get familiar with the care routine.
